Go Dive Lanta offers dedicated snorkelling trips by both speedboat
and Big boat to many islands within Ko Lanta's National Marine Park. You
can visit Ko Rok by Speedboat for superb snorkelling with fantastic
visibility and superb coral quality. There is a 4-Island Tour by
Traditional Longtail Boat that visits the islands of Ko Ngai, Ko Wan, Ko
Mook (Emerald Cave), and Ko Chuek.

Emerald Cave (Koh Mook)
The Emerald Cave is a secret
lagoon inside the island of Ko Mook. It can only be reached by swimming
down a tunnel underneath the rocks, which brings you out into a
completely secluded bay area with limestone cliffs soaring high above
you on all sides. The water glows a deep emerald green and it's rather
like swimming into the middle of a big, green volcano. There's even a
sandy beach to relax on inside the cave.

Snorkellers can also join any of
our dive excursions. We usually visit at least two sites each day. You
can snorkel at each dive site and also during the surface interval
(often at a third snorkelling site). All trips include boat rental,
equipment hire, breakfast, lunch, fruit, soft drinks and water.
Non-snorkelling friends and family are more than welcome to come along
to swim, sunbathe and enjoy the day out on the boat. We normally leave
the pier at 8.00 am and return at about 3.30pm.
The water temperature in the
Andaman Sea ranges between 28-32 degrees C, making swimming and
snorkelling conditions extremely pleasurable.
