The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course Experience :

This program gives you the opportunity to explore specific areas of scuba diving and gain more experience. The course layout enables you to customise your continuing education to fit your personal interest and demands.

About the program?s philosophy It is important for you to continue your training in the most convenient and flexible way. The ?Adventures in Diving Program? is especially designed so that you can choose your preferred diving activities under the guidance of your instructor. The huge variety of dives and flexible time schedule makes this course suitable for you.

Program Options
The ?Adventures in Diving Program? offers two different certifications. A diver successfully completing three adventure dives will receive the ?PADI Adventure Diver? certification. If you complete three elective dives plus the two core dives ?Deep? and ?Under Water Navigation? you will become certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

The Fun Part :

One reason you?ll love the Advanced Open Water Diver course is that you and your instructor choose from 15 types of Adventure Dives to complete your course. You can try your hand at digital underwater photography, wreck diving, deep diving, peak performance buoyancy and much more.

• Get credit! Each Adventure Dive may be credited toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty course. This means you can be well on your path to becoming a Master Scuba Diver.

What you will learn? :

The knowledge and skills you get in the Advanced Open Water Diver vary with your interest and the adventures you have, but include

• Practical aspects of deep diving
• Physiological effects of deeper scuba diving.
• More ways to use your underwater compass
• How to navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time
• How to better use your dive computer and electronic Recreational Dive Planner^TM (eRDP^TM)
• And much, much more, depending on the Adventure Dives you choose

We can recommend ?Deep Dive? and ?Navigation Dive? as they are the two core dives for Advanced Open Water Divers. You can choose what you?re most interested in learning. Choose another three of the following Adventure Dives:

Preparation

• Get your PADI Advanced Open Water Crew Pack from Go Dive?s dive store with a brief explanation of how to use it from our Staff. In comparison to the Open Water Diver course you are not required to work through the whole manual, but only one chapters for 'Adventure dive course? only three chapters for 'Adventure Divers? or respectively five chapters for ?Advanced Open Water Divers?. 

Knowledge development

• The Knowledge Development is now also available online as an 

Training in the swimming pool

Training @ the dive sites

• During your course you will participate in 5  training dives which will last 40-60 minutes each., combined with a guided tour to explore Koh Lanta?s tropical reefs. your course is conducted on our boat, Go Dive Lanta will provide you with free breakfast and lunch.

The Scuba Gear You Use :

All the equipment you will need is typically included in a PADI Adventure Diver Course experience.
