Koh Lanta benefits from a tropical monsoon climate - all the joys of brilliant sunshine with a lush green landscape. The monsoon means that Koh Lanta has two seasons - summer season and green season. The main tourist season runs from October to May however the temperature remains almost constant throughout the year. Daytime temperatures of 32-34 degrees drop to 20-25 degrees centigrade in the evening. Similarly the sea temperature ranges between 28 to 30 degrees centigrade all year round which is great news for divers! As it's name suggests green season has heavier rainfall but rain is not constant. Weeks of glorious weather can still be found during green season. ?
