PREPARATION
The 2 days Preparation Course which will refresh your dive theory and improve your pool and rescue skill demonstrations whilst ensuring you will be ready to go into the ITC with the confidence that your knowledge and skills are at the required level to pass the IE.
DIVE CONTROL SPECIALIST (DCS)
Enroll in a Dive Control Specialist program or enter the program as a Divemaster from any approved agency. After you are certified you can teach Scuba Skills Update, Snorkeling and Try Scuba (pool only) and you can even upgrade Training Specialist - a further step at your career ladder.
REACT RIGHT INSTRUCTOR (RRI)
Qualify to teach courses from Basic First Aid through to Advanced First Aid, CPR, AED and O2 Administration. Diving and non-diving applications make this a versatile qualification with opportunities to instruct all over the world.
React Right is an internationally accredited First Aid training agency offering support and materials worldwide.
OPEN WATER INSTRUCTOR (OWI)
After achieving the Dive Control Specialist rating, you enroll in the Instructor Training Course. On successful completion you can attend an Instructor Evaluation. Passing earns you the Open Water Instructor. You can teach and issue certifications for Open Water Diver, Advanced Adventurer and other programs.

To enroll in a Dive Instructor Premier Package

Be at least 18 years old

Must have logged at least 60 open water dives totaling 40 hours or more.

Must hold the Divemaster rating or an equivalent rating from a recognized agency.

That qualifying certifications from other diver training organization may apply – ask our Instructor Trainer.

All candidates participating in professional level training must have digital copies of the following documents uploaded into ODiN before the nal certi cation(s) can be issued:

RSTC Medical Statement signed by a physician within one (1) year

Proof of CPR training within two (2) years

Proof of First Aid training within two (2) years

Proof of Oxygen First Aid training within (2) years

What you will learn in Dive Instructor Premier Package?
COURSE CONTENTS :
The Dive Instructor Premier Package
(Preparation + Dive Control Specialist + React Right Instructor + Instructor Training Course takes 14 Days training.
REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPLETION :

Have logged at least 100 open water dives totaling 65 hours or more.

Complete and pass all requirements and evaluations listed in the Dive Control Specialist Instructor Manual.

Complete the water skills evaluation as outlined in the Dive Control Specialist Instructor Manual.

Complete a Dive Control Specialist nal exam with a passing score of 90%.

Complete and pass all requirements and evaluations listed in the Instructor Training Course Manual.

Complete the water skills evaluation as outlined in the Instructor Training Course Manual.

Complete the four (4) Instructor Training Course exams with a passing score of 90% on each.
ACADEMICS :
Training Materials and Online Training program are designed so that you can learn the academics at your own pace when it is convenient for you. You can complete the academics online when you sign up for Online Training program, and then attend review sessions with our Dive Center.
POOL TRAINING :
In the relaxed and stress free environment of our swimming pool you will practice all skill exercises.
OPEN WATER SESSIONS :
During your course you will participate in training dives which will last 40-60 minutes each.
you will apply the skills, combined with a guided tour to explore Koh Lanta's tropical reefs. Your instructor will show you a huge variety of tropical coral and fish. Clown fish, barracudas, lion fish, trumpet fish, groupers and many other marine creatures will greet you in their world.
SAFETY & FUN :
Your experienced buddy and instructor understands your problems as a beginner and will be there to assist you whilst under water.

After your Open Water Instructor, you can start working towards Specialty Instructor. You can qualify by attending Specialty Instructor Seminars or co-teaching Specialty Programs with a qualified instructor. If you already hold Specialties as a Training Specialist, they will be automatically upgraded to Specialty Instructor.
