Freediving Basic is your chance to get wet and experience what freediving is all about. Signing up for a Freediving Basic course is a great way to decide whether getting a freediving certification is right for you.

Before book Freediving Basic Course :

To enroll in a Free Diving Basic Course

  • You must be 10 years old or older.

  • No prior experience with free diving is required.

Please check the health requirements for this course.

Prior to training, student must have completed a Try Freediving/Basic Freediving Record form including:

  • Statement of Understanding

  • Privacy Statement

  • Medical History form

  • Waiver and Release of Liability and Risk Awareness Veri cation (where applicable)

Taking Free Diving Basic Course

You will need to stay on Koh Lanta at least 3 Days 2 Nights.

What you will learn in Free Diving Basic Course?

 

Course contents

You will learn the same skills as on the level 1 but without experiencing depth.
Duration: 1 day

 

Knowledge Development & Equipment

 

ACADEMICS :

Training Materials and Online Training program are designed so that you can learn the academics at your own pace when it is convenient for you. You can complete the academics online when you sign up for Online Training program, and then attend review sessions with our Dive Center.

 

  • Complete academic sessions and assessments

  • Complete the Freediving Level 1 final exam with a passing score of 80%.

Rates are Inclusive of :

 

  • All your training

Free Diving Basic Course itinerary

 

Arrival Day : Sign up & Try diving equipment at Go Dive Shop 1 day before start course.

 

Training Day at Swimming Pool or Beach :

08:00 - 08:45 AM. Pick up from your Hotels & Resorts

09:00 AM Knowledge development (Theory) Reviewing knowledge review with your instructor.

10:00 AM - 03:00 PM Freediving Skill

POOL TRAINING :

Your instructor will explain and slowly demonstrate each and every skill for you and give you enough time to practice.  Also check if you are able to swim and feel comfortable in the water to prepare for safe freediving.

 

SAFETY & FUN :

Your experienced buddy and instructor understands your problems as a beginner and will be there  to assist you whilst under water.
