Koh Lanta is located on the Andaman Coast in the south of Krabi province. The most common way to travel to Koh Lanta from Trang Town.

Option 1 : Private Van THB 3'000/Van/Way Maximum 6 Person + Luggage

 

 

A private minivan will pick you up from the hotel or guesthouse in Trang Town or Trang Bus Station or Trang Train Station.  The minivan driver will be waiting at the prearranged spot with your name on our welcome card. The minivan is large and can accommodate maximum 6 people + luggages. When you get close  to Koh Lanta the minivan drives onto the car ferry, taking you to Koh Lanta Noi 6km later you reach the other side of Koh Lanta Noi and the minivan drives over the bridge to Koh Lanta Yai. Your private minivan transfer service to Koh Lanta will drop you at your hotel.

It’s very easy and stress free – once you meet the driver and get into the minivan, you don’t have to do anything else…within a short time you’ll be your Koh Lanta hotel reception.

 

Option 2 : Taxi from Trang Town & Boat Ferry THB 665-950/Person

 

Trang Town / Bus Station / Train Station - Koh Lanta

You can ask at the counter tour at Trang hotel / Bus Station / Train Station for Taxi to The Trang Ferry Pier (Had Yao), Please check the price at counter tour.

 

or High Speed Ferry provides a taxi pickup service from your Trang Hotel / Bus station / Train station to the Trang Pier (Had Yao) and then a 2 hour ferry journey to Koh Lanta.

  • Pick up by minivan at 10:00 from your Trang hotel reception / Trang Bus Station / Trang Railway Station

  • Travel to Hat Yao Pier in Trang and board the High Speed ferry which departs at 13:00

  • The journey to Koh Lanta is 2 hours, so you will arrive at Koh Lanta at 15:00

 

Koh Lanta - Trang Town / Bus Station / Train Station

The High Speed Ferry Depart Koh Lanta at 10:00 – Arrive at Trang Town at 15:00 - 15:30

 

  • Check in then board the High Speed ferry which departs Koh Lanta at 10:00

  • The journey to Trang Hat Yao Pier is 2.5 hours, you will arrive at Trang Hat Yao Pier at 12:30

  • Departing the ferry you then join the minivan which takes you to your destination allowing you to arrive at your Trang Hotel at 15:00 / Trang Bus Station at 15:30 / Trang Railway Station at 15:30

 

Please bear in mind that if your arrival time is late in the day, the local minibus or public passenger ferries scheduled for Ko Lanta may not always be available.

 

Option 3 : Public Van THB 400/Person/Way Maximum 13 Person + Luggage

 

 

Public Mini Van Will be the same way with private van but many people in the mini van and we are not arrange it, If you would love this option please check at the counter tour at the hotel or guesthouse.
