What you will learn in Wreck Diver Course?

Course contents

The course takes 2 days training in the open water with 4 training dives.

There are many different types of wrecks, some of which are protected by laws that guard their historical and cultural significance. Your training starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks.

Orientation to safely participate in wreck diving activities, this will include:

Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks.
The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving
Surveying and mapping a wreck.
The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels to guide exploration.
Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants.
Limited-visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures

Knowledge Development (Theory)

Our instructor will provide you with all of the information you need by using a video and verbal presentation.

Training in Swimming Pool or Beach

No Required for this course.

Training in open water

During your course you will participate in 4 open water training dives which will last 40-60 minutes each. You will then be able to apply wreck dive knowledge, combined with a guided tour to explore Koh Lanta's tropical reefs. Our instructor will show you a huge variety of tropical coral and fish. Clown fish, barracudas, lion fish, trumpet fish, groupers and many other marine creatures will greet you in their world.

Safety & Fun.

Your experienced buddy and instructor understands your problems as a beginner and will be there to assist you whilst under water.
